Meet some of our other great long term, dedicated Wildlife Educators Staff and Volunteers!
These are the ones that have been with us over the years!

Here are some pictures of our wonderful dedicated staff and volunteers. Most of our staff started out as volunteers and still know all about putting in long hours with little pay. We are blessed to have staff and volunteers here because they want to be here. They love what they do, they see the vision, want to be part of a solution and are willing to work long, hard hours to see through what needs to be done. Now don't get me wrong.. They will all tell you how much fun they have and how much they love it! All those long hours includes working with some of the most amazing animals, working with the best group of people ever and meeting lots of neat people while on the road! The reward is in seeing an animal so content, a person so delighted and much more!
John Michael and Ashley have been coming with their mom (Tawnya Williams, Compound Manager and whole lot more!) to the zoo for over 6 years and have found their way into the hearts of many. They are a huge help and love the animals. They are respectful and love to share with others that come here. They can probably answer most questions and both are excited for the day when "they grow up" and become zookeepers, Wildlife Educators like their mom!
You will most likely find them in the petting zoo area welcoming guest and sharing the animals.
Head Staff: We got to hand it to these girls. These are the ones that when something goes wrong. They get to stay late. When no one else can do it, they get to. They are are all multi talented! You may see them presenting a program, bottle feeding a baby, overseeing other staff, volunteers, interns, taking care of the animals and whatever else needs to be done! We are blessed with a great head staff!
